After PUFF was finished This Life was on the telly, gigs were played, local radio DJs cajoled, Record Co. peeps mailed, meetings held with supremos (well Andy Ross from Food records actually who met us in a pub to tell us that he didn't know what he could do to help, but to keep up the good work) we finally called it a day in '98 (I guess). After a break, me and Mark Anderson started writing production music for the BBC, something which I tired of quite quickly (somewhat foolishly, but the money wasn't any good and my heart wasn't in it). So I decided to 'give up' writing music altogether to ride motorcycles with my partner Lyn. A few years of this and our daughter Jennifer rather rashly started dating a drummer, James ( a lovely guy). Through James I met the brilliant Hadleigh Ford, a local musician with whom i was deeply impressed (most unusual for me as i'm a pathologically critical git, not least of myself). I was inspired to pick up my guitar again. LOOP is the result...
