Possibly the most upbeat and enthusiastic song about the blues I've ever written. Pre Nirvana's "Sappy" but similar idea I suppose - Glad to be Blue!
Stephen's bass is utterly brilliant here, particularly as he mostly used an old (and rare) fretless precision, but played it like a fretted one (no Mick Karn burps and slides here). Maybe he figured that as being different is hard making things hard makes you different.
